Moving into your New Property

Now that you’ve purchased your new property, here are some handy tips you may want to consider before moving in to get you started:

  • Connect all utilities, such as the electricity, water, gas and telephone
  • Check the locks, burglar and smoke alarms in your new home as soon as possible
  • Ensure your house and gardens are child-safe, for example; pool and yard accessibility
  • You may wish to have new locks fitted
  • Register to vote in your new electorate
